monitor calibration saves lives...and time

hello guys, it's been a while..
so now that i'm back, i promised that i will be posting more stuffs on my blog. so here it is.
i usually blog about photograpgy-related stuffs. and sometimes personal updates. today, i will be blogging about using your lcd tv as your monitor because face it, looking at the tiny laptop screen does make you feel dizzy. especially when you're editing pictures 2-3 hours straight.

but before you plug in your HDMI(high definition multimedia interface) cables, please please please please make sure your color settings are correct. i know this is really basic stuff, but many people tend to overlook it.
don't expect to just plug in start doing your work.

first off, make sure your screen ratios are correct. this is to make sure everything on your desktop fits perfectly in your big lcd screen.

and the most important thing is your color settings. if its way off, then you'll be wasting a lot of time editing again because what appears on the lcd tv screen is not quite the same when you're viewing it on your laptop screen. in this case, its either your laptop lcd screen or your lcd tv screen thats way off.

it saves a lot of time if you recalibrate your monitor first. google monitor calibration and you'll see what i'm talking about.

this is just a short post.will  update later
