water drops-high speed photography in action.

high-speed photography is one the major reasons why i'm doing photography today. i was fascinated by the slow-motion impact like the ones in Time Warp. In case you guys don't know what time warp is, it's a tv series on Discovery (i think). or possibly Nat Geo. Either way, it's in one of those two channels. The show is all about Slow-motion impacts. they shoot normal everyday scenes and turn it into a super slow-mo. it is really cool.
they shoot using Phantom cameras. that is one badass camera. god knows how many frames per sec those beasts can take.

anyways, i just recently acquired a flashgun and i am already experimenting with it. my nissin Di622 is doing it's job remarkably well. i don't need to buy a transmitter and a receiver if i wanted the flash to fire off-hot shoe.
anyways, here are my pictures of water drops. x-synced at 1/200.

one of the first succesful pictures.

these were done in the kitchen at 4 AM.

these were also taken in the kitchen. the blue ones,
i used my mum's pyrex, the black ones, kuali

one of the first toilet series. taken from what appears
to be a fish bowl.

that's about it. more pictures coming up.
